Keeping Children Safe: 2014 Annual Report

Jonathan’s Place is proud to share the results of your donations for our last fiscal year!  They are available in our FY 2014 Annual Report (PDF).

annual-reportIn fiscal year 2014, we provided loving homes, food, clothing, supplies, and outreach services to 11,112 children across 19 Texas counties.

As we look toward our 25th year of service, we continue to build capacity to help more children.

In October 2014, we opened a Fort Worth branch office and hired a new case manager to recruit, train and support foster and foster-to-adopt families in Tarrant, Palo Pinto, Hood, Erath, Somervell, Parker, and Johnson counties.

Our Residential Programs (Emergency Shelter & Girls Residential Treatment) continued to provide a soft bed, warm meals, and a team of experienced counselors and case managers for each child who enters our door.

In our second year as the Dallas County Safe Place affiliate, we saw incredible growth in our runaway prevention and outreach program.  This program educates teens on the dangers of running away and provides them with resources they can use before making any decisions.

We are very excited about the growth of our programs and all the children we will serve in the coming year.

Thank you for your partnership in keeping children safe and here’s to another year of creating brighter future.
