It's been 10 long years, but the Jonathan's Place campus in Northeast Dallas County is essentially complete! Outside of a few items that need to be finished up here and there, construction of the new buildings is complete. Jonathan's Place now has the ability to provide greater services to more children each year.

Our campus has grown from 2 cottages to 3 cottages, a children's services center, a recreational lodge and a donation center. Let us take a minute to familiarize you with all of our buildings:

The Mike Modano Cottage, T. Boone Pickens Cottage and The Meadows Foundation Cottage are our residential facilities. Each cottage has the ability and space for up to 16 children to live in each building, with each child having their own bed and storage space. Two children share a room at a time. The Mike Modano Cottage is equipped with a four crib nursery, while the T. Boone Pickens Cottage and The Meadows Foundation Cottage are designed for older children.

The T. Boone Pickens Children's Services Center is the main entrance to the campus and is equipped with a dedicated medical room, a dedicated therapy room, a children's storefront, case management services, a classroom, a conference/training room, a visitation room and executive offices. All visitors to the campus will have to come through this building before proceeding to any part of the campus.

The Rees-Jones Foundation Lodge will be the exciting, focal point for the children. The Lodge consists of a commercial kitchen and a dining room large enough for up to 48 children to dine at once. There is also an indoor recreation room, a therapeutic art room and a library/computer room. The recreation room and the dining room both up to a covered play area equipped with bicycles, basketball goals, wagons and other toys.

The Hillcrest Foundation Donation Center is an on-site location to receive, process and store in-kind donations. The storage center has a commercial size freezer and refrigerator, an electronics storeroom and changing rooms for the kids to try on clothing.

We are very excited that this day has finally arrived! The children that will call Jonathan's Place home in the future will have the very services at their fingertips to begin the road to recovery! Thank you to everybody that helped make this possible.

Photos of the new campus will be posted in the "Tour" section of our website, so please check back to take a virtual tour of our campus.
